Every month, I have to convert around 70 .doc file to .txt files. So I have been manually opening each one, doing save as, change it to txt, and then ok. Just changing the file extension doesn’t work.
So..I would like to write a script or batch file that could change every word document in a specified folder into a txt file. Can anyone help. Please 
Or maybe you can point me to somewhere that can help.
I’m have had very limited experience writing batch files and even less with scripts.. but I learn well so plz help.

What you have to do is just open the document you want to convert to pdf
go to file menu and give the print command. in the list of printers select cutepdf writer or dopdf (whatever you installed) and select ok to print. these software will just print a copy of your document as a pdf file and will ask you where to save the pdf file. save the pdf generated in a folder of your choice.
